Monarchs Conservation & Community Initiatives
Natural Habitat Adventures is engaged in a number of philanthropic initiatives that aim to empower local people, preserve cultural heritage and conserve forests in the Kingdom of the Monarchs. By operating environmentally sensitive trips to the butterflies’ overwintering sites in Mexico’s Central Highlands, we contribute financially to communities on the ground and help ensure that monarch colonies have a bright future. Our initiatives outlined below support grassroots efforts and encourage sustainable development, which works in tandem with our mission to protect wildlife in biodiverse regions.
